Standardization, Training and Qualification Association in the Aerospace, Defence and Security Sector
UNAVIA is a free, no-profit, Association established in 1946 by the main Aeronautical Manufacturers and the Ministry of Defence.
Today the Association operates in the Aerospace and Defence sector, and counts among its Members the Ministry of Defence (through ARMAEREO), the Ministry of Economic Development, ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority), and AIAD (Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defence and Security). In particular AIAD is an Ordinary Member, instead the others are Members of Law.
UNAVIA operates in three fields:
