UNAVIA carries out its standardization activity, directly or indirectly, in many international, european and national Standardization Contexts, operating in different Technological Domains. UNAVIA‘s intervention in the flow of standardization activities takes place in a structured and differentiated manner in the various Standardization Contexts, also taking into account that UNAVIA:
- Expresses the Italian “National Coordinator” and the “Focal Points” in the various Technological Domains of ASD-STAN; participates in the technical coordination activities at European level, within ASD-STAN (“Technical Authority”), and EDA;
- Expresses the National Expert, indicated by AIAD in support of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry for Economic Development, in the standardization activities carried out within the NATO AC Group 327 “Life Cycle Management Group” WG 2 “Quality” (in particular for the NATO AQAP standards and the IAQG / NATO AC 327 liaison);
- Participates in the Commission UNINFO 1/7 “Information Technologies – Software and System Engineering”, national interface with ISO / IEC JTC1 / SC7 (process standards, like ISO/IEC 12207, ISO/IEC 15288, …);
- Within AIAD, coordinates the activities of the WG 5 of the Quality Committee “Quality and Software Engineering”, for the monitoring of the standardization activity, related to Software and Software-intensive Systems, developed in the different Standardization Contexts of interest, and participates in the Working Group AIAD-STAN;
- Has the responsibility of the Secretariat of the CTM (“Joint Technical Committee (SGD/DNA-AIAD-UNI/UNAVIA) for the Standardization of Materials and Processes for the Defense sector”).
